After the long wait for the publication of the 2nd issue of Clu! Mag, it was finally published last week Monday and my article was featured in it and of course I was credited as an Assistant Stylist for the cover of the mag. Get a copy from any University Campus around South Africa or check below:

When I saw the cover of the 2011 September issue of ”Harper Bazaar Magazine UK” I was wowed by the Classic coordination of Hair, Make-up and Styling on the cover girl Beyonce Knowles. I must salute Franck Benhamou for the marvellous styling.
Yes you heard right: South African Vogue. Voila! (pronounced : vwa-la! or voi-la) is fast becoming the forefront of South African Glossy magazines. With 8 issues published I can safely say Voila! has a bright future. Each month Fashionistas await impatiently to get their hands on this mag…to admire the concepts that are amazingly executed by this amazing team. You can get a copy at Carlton Hair Salons, The Space or check on their website for more info on where you can get a copy. PS: its for free.
In all fashionistas wardrobes/Closets there must be a pair of both Brogues and Boat shoes and Stylish is key. If you dont have a pair as yet do yourself a favour and get a pair of each. Here are some ideas below:
Yesterday I had the opportunity to be at the Behind the scenes of a shoot for True Love Magazine: one of South Africa’s renowned Women Magazine. I was with True Love’s Picture Editor Lutho and Sandi (FabroSanz).
In this picture I’m wearing:
Denim Shirt: Old Khakhi
Jeans: Old Khakhi
Man’s Handbag: Vintage
This past Monday GQ South Africa held their annual GQ Best Dressed Men Awards. Like all Fashionistas a stylish outfit had to be put together. One thing I found peculiar about this awards was that the “Best Dressed” were not in the list but the “Worst Dressed” were in it…anyways I was more excited about my Styling gig more than anything else. I styled Hulisani Ravele (TV & Radio Personality). She wore:
Accessories: Client’s own
Heel: Client’s own
After months of searching for the Spaghetti scarf I finally got myself one at Jay Jays in Alberton Mall this past weekend and the excited I had was just…indescribable. As the day progressed I got myself an amazing man’s clutch from a vintage store. Check them out:
If you thought Colour Blocking is gay, then you are gay yourself. This season sees colour blocking trending massively in both sexes. Colours give life to a “dead” or “ok” outfit, so feel free to explore with colours but remember with basic colours you will never go wrong. Go for bright chinos, blazers, shorts, t-shirts, shoes, etc. Its time to put your pre-school colour-matching talent to the test.
And to add pizzaz to your outfit get a bright/colourful man’s bag.
Guys this is for you from yours truly.
This season saw Obi belts making a huge come-back, thanks to Gucci for bringing them in a fierce way on the runway. They(Obi belts) come in various designs, so which ever works for you go for it. The awesome thing about it is that it exudes your figure very well…dlala nge-figure! LOL!
Summer is here and there are tons and tons of trends and I’m delighted to share them with you as I discover them. One of the biggest and awesome trends this summer is colourful and bright nails. All you need is this:Colourful nail polish and your creativity to “nail it”.
You can go for one colour, two or even more depends on your mood and/ or outfit. The colour just pops and gives your outfit pizzaz. Another trend is matching your nails with your heels or clutch bag.
A lot happened yesterday; I missed a test because I wasn’t feeling well and my friend was infuriated by the fact that I wasn’t going to write But life had to go on whatsoever. As now a Celebrity Personal Stylist I decided to go out to do some sourcing and browse for items for my client’s shoot. Truth be told I admire Stylists a lot, I mean you spend the entire day going to diverse stores, going through every rail just to find “that” item. Well I had to do that too for the first time and it was an experience.
The employees at Jo Borket, Mango and Naf Naf were friendly and helpful,we ended up having conversations of our own and sharing good laughs. It was an experience indeed. Its a lot of work and its challenging to work as a Personal Stylist but I’m excited and ready for the challenge. If you want to know what I’m wearing check out http://lookbook.nu/bodacious
